TERMS OF USE
1. WHAT ESTANTE HQ IS
Estante HQ is a place to record your comics collection, see what is missing from each series and follow the releases published in Brazil.
Today, everything on Estante HQ is free. The Pro page shows plans that cannot be purchased yet. When they can, these terms will gain the rules for payment, renewal and cancellation, and you will be told beforehand.
These terms apply to the estantehq.com website and to the Estante HQ app. By creating an account or signing in, you agree to them and to the Privacy policy.

2. WHO CAN USE IT
You must be 18 years old or older to create an account. Each account belongs to one person only. Use an e-mail address that is yours and keep your login details secret.
If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it and delete its data.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT AND YOUR COLLECTION
You are responsible for what you record in your account: copies, readings, prices, where you keep each one, your wishlist.
Your collection data is yours. You choose who sees your shelf in Profile / Privacy: only you, your followers or anyone. To receive a copy of your data, write to privacidade@estantehq.com.
4. THE CATALOGUE AND SUBMISSIONS
The catalogue gathers the editions published in Brazil. Part of it comes from publishers' stores; part comes from readers.
When you submit an edition that is not yet in the catalogue, the submission goes through curation before it is published. By submitting, you authorise Estante HQ to publish, correct and merge that entry, free of charge and with no time limit. The entry shows that it was submitted by you. If you delete your account, the entry stays in the catalogue, without your name.
Curation may correct, merge or refuse submissions and reports, and may block new submissions from anyone who abuses them.
Catalogue data may contain errors. If you find one, use REPORT in the edition menu.
5. WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED
On your profile, in your submissions and in your reports, do not publish:
- anything illegal, offensive, discriminatory or that exposes another person;
- content that infringes the copyright or trademark rights of third parties;
- advertising, spam or misleading links;
- data that is not yours, or impersonate another person.
It is also not allowed to try to access other people's accounts, overload the service or copy the catalogue in an automated way.
We may remove content that breaks these rules and limit or close the account of anyone who breaks them.
6. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
Covers, synopses, names and trademarks belong to the publishers and their authors. Estante HQ uses them to identify each edition and always points to the publisher's website when there is one.
If you hold the rights to any of this content and want it removed from Estante HQ, write to contato@estantehq.com.
7. SPONSORSHIP AND ADS
Publishers and stores may sponsor releases in the calendar and in the feed and advertise in the marked spaces of the website and the app. Everything that is paid for appears marked as sponsorship or advertising. Links lead to third-party websites, which have their own terms.
Ads are sold directly, without advertising networks, and do not use your data to choose what you see. To advertise, use the Contact page with the subject ADVERTISING.
8. THE SERVICE AS IT IS
We do our best to make Estante HQ work well, but it may go offline for maintenance or because of failures. It may also change: features may be created, altered or withdrawn.
Cover prices and release dates come from the publishers and may change without notice. Check the store before you buy.
Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Code.
9. CLOSING YOUR ACCOUNT
You can delete your account whenever you want, in Profile / Delete account. You have 7 days to change your mind: just sign in again. After that, the account and its data are deleted, as the Privacy policy says.
We may also close accounts that break these terms. When possible, we warn you beforehand by e-mail.
10. LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms follow the laws of Brazil. Any dispute may be brought before the courts of your place of residence.
11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
When we change something important in these terms, we tell you in Notices and by e-mail before the change takes effect. The date and version at the top of the page show which text is in force.
